Embed Editor for Obsidian
Embed Editor allows you to click any transclusion (![[note]]) to edit its source in a floating panel, similar to Notion's synced blocks. This enables editing embeds in place without leaving the current note.
Best For
Key Use Cases
- Editing transcluded content without navigating away
- Quickly modifying embedded notes
- Maintaining synced blocks in a Notion-like workflow
Pros
- Convenient in-place editing
- Saves time by avoiding context switching
- Improves workflow for linked notes
Limitations
- Requires familiarity with transclusions
- Limited to editing source content (not the embed itself)
- May clutter the interface if multiple floating panels open
